Slow Down


What would it be like to slow down?

I’m not talking about taking a break. I’m not talking about resting.

I’m talking about slowing down the pace of all of it.

What else would you notice?

Would you have time to actually think?

To enjoy things?

I work with women who are go-getters. We love to do all the things. And often, we want to do all the things all at the same time.

But what I know is that when we are constantly in a rush to get things done, to achieve that next goal, to check one more thing off the list, it can feel like we’re not actually living at all.

We never actually savor the experience.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We never get that sense of satisfaction that we came for.
