Taking Care of Yourself First

I want you to know that you are worthy of your own caretaking.

You are worth the time and energy.

You are worthy of whatever kindness you can show yourself.

You are also worthy of the discipline that you exert to achieve your goals.

Those two actions towards yourself can live in harmony.

You don’t always need to be going. You don’t always need to be producing.

Give yourself care and rest. By tuning in to what you need, you will be able to put out into the world your work which is in alignment with who and what you are.

So what do you do to take care of yourself?

Maybe it’s taking some time each day for meditation and tuning in to your own knowing.

Maybe it’s exercise.

Maybe it’s a hot cup of coffee. Alone.

Maybe it’s time with friends.

Maybe it’s getting your hair done.

All of it is important if it’s what will bring you back to yourself. Give you some sense of inner calm.

Too often we skimp on these things. And we shouldn’t.

Let’s all take care of ourselves a little bit better today.

You are becoming your wildest dreams.

But there is another way.
By getting into alignment with who you really are.
By remembering.
By listening to your own intuition and taking action on that.
You always know best.
